Extend rear mud flap
Mileage: 5446
Well it’s starting to look like we’ve seen the end of summer, so it won’t be long before the council are out coating the roads inches deep in salt, so I thought I’d beef up the rear mud flap to help protect my rear shock and swing-arm bearings.
Easy job. Rubber doormat cheap from Poundstretcher ( £1.29 ), ten minutes spent with a pair of scissors, a hole punch and a few ss nuts and bolts and there you have it. Not the neatest job in the world but you can barely notice it from outside the bike and it should help some of the crap off.
